Past President
Hi, my name is Jessica Dwyer Milley, and I have been a member of CANN since 2009. I graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2008 with a Bachelors in Nursing. I have successfully maintained my CNA certification in Neuroscience as well as Medical Surgical areas. I have worked as a staff nurse, and later as the Patient Care Facilitator in the neurology unit. I have recently changed roles within the department, I am now the Patient Care Coordinator - Movement Disorders. I am really enjoying my new job and love learning new things. Which is one of the reasons I continue my involvement with CANN, learning new nursing topics. I think CANN is a great association, as we have a fantastic network of people across Canada to share their expertise with each other. My areas of interest are Stroke, Parkinsons, ALS and Huntingtons. I am very proud to be on the executive of CANN, and I know that we have one of the most dedicated groups of people to run a volunteer organization. In addition to my nursing life, I am a mom of two kids, Caleb and Gabrielle, and my husband Jonathan. We live in St. John's Newfoundland.
