Past-President Report
June 2010
Greetings everyone,
It has been as busy year for CANN as a whole, with the entire Board working to allow CANN to function at its best. Many motions have come form the midyear minutes and updated administrative manuals will be available to Board members at the annual meeting in June. In terms of nominations, we have many new Board members this year and to date, all open positions are filled except for that of incoming Vice-President/Secretary. While individuals have been approached, I have not had anyone accept the nominations yet. I am optimistic someone will be found before the AGM in June.
As this is my last year on the CANN executive, I would like to thank you all for your fantastic efforts and support in the past 3 years. I have met many more people in CANN than I would have if I did not take on this role, and have formed many new friendships. While it has been challenging at times, the rewards have far outweighed the work. I do encourage members to get involved with the Board for the professional development and networking, and to expand your social horizons.
I look forward to seeing you all in June.
Respectfully submitted,
Janice Nesbitt
Past-president
