Ontario-East Chapter Annual Report

November 2011

Greetings from the Ontario East Chapter.

Ontario East Chapter has been busy this fall. We hosted our annual day conference, “Neuroscience in Motion”, in October and are looking forward to our next educational evening in November and our annual Christmas get together.

We’ve continued our local chapter fundraising with a shopping experience of beautiful fashionable jewellery brought right to our neuroscience unit for all to see.

We are very much engaged in the planning of the 43rd Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions, June 5–8, 2012. The call for abstracts has gone out, sponsors are being lined up and we’ve toured the Marriott Hotel, our conference facility, which is going to be wonderful, especially the revolving room on the 28th floor where our opening reception will be held. It’s the best view of Ottawa!

I wish all of you happy holidays and look forward to seeing many of you in the New Year.
