- Objectives:
- To increase publication of original research, case studies, and clinical papers; 3-4/edition or 9-12/year
- Reduce publication rate to 3 times/year until such time as manuscript submissions increase
- To support clinical editors in critical review of manuscripts through enhanced review materials
- To support submitting authors with relevant and explicit feedback from peer reviewers
- Editorials to continue to address different article types and pertinent writing/reporting guidelines
- Work Structure:
- Increase awareness and visibility of CJNN (at conferences, seminars, workshops, etc.) by visiting poster displays, speaking with poster/oral presenters, handing out business cards, etc.
- Ensure submitting authors receive a manuscript checklist to submit with their paper
- Clear and explicit manuscript submission guidelines, instructions to authors
- Draft general reviewer guidelines and circulate to clinical editors;
- to be consistent with other peer-reviewed journals peer reviewers (when evaluating) and authors (when submitting) are referred to the following checklists for:
