Neuroscience Certification Award
DESCRIPTION
The Neuroscience Certification Award was established to promote continuing professional education in line with the mission and vision of C.A.N.N. This bursary provides financial support to qualified nurses to pursue additional training in neuroscience nursing.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Guidelines:
- This bursary is open to registered nurses who have worked in neurosciences and are members of C.A.N.N. in good standing for at least two years.
- Successful candidate(s) must agree to write a letter to be published in the CJNN describing how completion of the course will advance neuroscience nursing.
Application Process:
- Complete an application form.
- Provide proof of registration to write the neuroscience certification exam.
- Provide evidence for the amount of certification.
- Provide proof of current registration with provincial nursing association.
- Ask a person who has had the opportunity to assess your work to complete the professional reference form. Acceptable referees include:
- another member of C.A.N.N.
- manager
- educator (institution or hospital)
Application Deadline:
- The closing date for receipt of applications for the Neuroscience Certification Award is May 31st of each year.
